AI Business News: Anthropic, Nvidia, UnityAI, Saudi Aramco and Healthcare AI Trends

Hello friend,

Let’s be honest for a second. There is a massive difference between knowing about AI and actually using it to change how your business runs.

We see it all the time. Leaders get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tools out there. They sign up for a dozen free trials, play around for an hour, and then go right back to their old way of doing things because they don’t have a clear roadmap.

That was Mackenzie two years ago.

She was the CMO of a medical training company, and she felt buried under options. She knew she needed to modernize, but she didn’t know where to start. So, she joined our Applied AI Level 1 cohort.

Fast forward to today? She’s the CEO.

The “Boring” Work is Gone

Mackenzie didn’t use AI to replace her team; she used it to elevate them.

One of her biggest wins was in customer service. By automating the ticketing system and basic inquiries, she was able to move three out of four support reps into new, high-value roles in operations, finance, and marketing.

“We have not lost workforce through AI,” she told us. “People have new roles they didn’t have before… We’re upskilling who we have and replacing automatable skills to give those people more time to learn new skills.”

Now, instead of drowning in support tickets, her team is building the business.

If It’s Not Written Down, It’s Not Done

Mackenzie’s biggest piece of advice for anyone trying to implement AI? You need a process first.

“Anything with a written process,” she said, was the easiest to automate. If your business runs on tribal knowledge—stuff that’s just in people’s heads—AI can’t help you yet. It’s still a computer; it needs the programming. You have to document the work before you can hand it off to the machine. (And yes, there’s an AI for that; we built it).

Our current class has already started, but you can secure your spot for the next round today.

This Week’s AI News

All right, let’s look at the news. This week, AI keeps showing up for better workforce planning, smarter healthcare operations, and faster insights from complex datasets. The companies getting real value from AI are applying it where it directly improves service, speed, and decision-making.

Anthropic gives businesses a more useful way to think about AI and jobs

Anthropic’s new labor-market research introduces a measure of “observed exposure” that combines theoretical AI capability with real-world usage data. The data shows that actual AI coverage is still well below what is theoretically possible.

My take: I like this because it gives leaders a grounded way to plan. Instead of assuming every white-collar role is about to change overnight, companies can focus on where AI is already being used in real workflows. Augmentation is much more realistic than replacement right now.

UnityAI lands new funding to reduce healthcare admin drag

UnityAI raised $8.5 million in new funding. Their agentic AI tools help healthcare teams handle scheduling, intake, insurance verification, patient outreach, and financial clearance.

My take: Healthcare is one of the clearest examples of AI creating immediate business value through workflow support. When a tool reduces paperwork and shortens wait times, leaders get both efficiency gains and a stronger service story.

Saudi Arabia’s deaf community shows what accessible AI looks like

Real-time transcription, speech-to-text, and translation tools are helping deaf users in Saudi Arabia navigate work more independently. A Saudi Aramco employee is even involved in a pilot exploring how AI can better support deaf employees inside the company.

My take: This is a strong reminder that accessibility is not a side project. Businesses that build AI into communication and onboarding improve the employee experience and customer experience at the same time. That is a much smarter use case than adding AI just for novelty.

AI maps the high seas faster, and that has business ripple effects

The Deep Vision project will use AI to analyze large archives of seafloor imagery and map vulnerable marine ecosystems across the Atlantic. AI cuts analysis time dramatically and provides environmental managers with consistent evidence to guide marine protection decisions.

My take: Even if your business is not in climate tech, this is relevant. We are seeing the same pattern everywhere: AI becomes valuable when humans are overwhelmed by massive datasets. The winners are the organizations that turn that backlog into usable insight faster.

A new hybrid AI model could improve mood disorder research

Researchers at Google DeepMind and the University of Oxford developed a hybrid model that combines reinforcement learning with neural networks. It better reflects how humans actually learn from rewards and past experiences.

My take: This points to better research tools, not just better automation. For businesses in health and biotech, stronger models of human behavior will eventually support better diagnostics, treatment design, and research efficiency.
