AI Diagnostics, Global Rules, and a $19B Data Center Deal

Dear Friend,

At our AI Smart Labs session, our team talked about tool redundancy. If a primary AI tool goes down, you must have a backup ready. You need to know exactly what instructions and context you feed your tools so you can pack up your digital suitcase and move to Gemini or Claude without missing a beat. To avoid over-reliance on any single AI platform, it is essential to thoroughly document your operational workflows.

If you need help building your AI strategy, we are here for you. Just send an email to [email protected].

Here are the top stories from this week and why they matter to you.

AI for Project Management: How Asana AI, Monday AI, Notion AI, and ClickUp AI Compare

This week’s stories:

Agility Robotics Prepares to Sell Stock to the Public

Agility Robotics is getting ready for an IPO. The company builds humanoid robots for warehouse work. While other robotics companies chase massive valuations with promises of putting a robot in every home, Agility is focusing entirely on execution and practical use cases today.

My Take: The most significant momentum in the AI sector is occurring within physical infrastructure, major industry players are preparing for decades of expansion. Computing is the real bottleneck right now, not model quality, and whoever locks up capacity years in advance is the one still standing when demand outpaces supply. Watch which vendors your business depends on for AI infrastructure, and ask whether they have the staying power to still be there in five years.

Reddit Uses AI to Clean Up AI Spam

Reddit is now using large language models to help moderate content and remove spam across its platform. The company is fighting fire with fire to clean up the propaganda and junk posts that other AI systems created.

My Take: AI creates new problems, and it also builds the solutions. As AI content floods the internet, you need to be aware of how this may impact the channels that you rely on. Instagram did a major clean up which resulted in MILLIONS of “users” being removed. This lowered visibility for the accounts who counted on these “users” to engage. The numbers are now coming back and we keep an eye on all channels and how we can stand out with great content. Do you have a plan if AI determines your followers/fans or content is junk?  your business needs clear workflows to verify what is real. Where are you vulnerable?

MIT Builds an Ultrasound Scanner That Fits Inside a Bra

Researchers at MIT created a portable ultrasound scanner that fits inside a bra. Someone at high risk for breast cancer can scan themselves at home, as often as they want, instead of waiting for an appointment. The scan data goes to a smartphone, where AI checks it for early signs of tumors.

My Take: My Oura ring already does a rudimentary version of this. It warns me about symptoms before I feel anything, and that changes how I think about checkups. Screening is about to stop being an event you schedule and become a stream you wear, and whoever owns that stream owns the patient relationship, not the hospital that used to be the front door. What is the stream in your business that the right model could quietly replace? What “expert” work can you clearly define and teach others to do?

The United Nations Pushes for Global AI Rules

Leaders from governments and tech companies met in Geneva for the UN Global Dialogue on AI Governance. They discussed the need for global rules to stop AI from spreading misinformation or causing harm. Officials are also worried about an AI divide, where only a few countries control the best technology.

My Take: Many governments have been concerned about safety and at the same time, afraid their populations will fall behind in this AI race. There’s a fine line that every jurisdiction is navigating right now, globally, and locally. Where is AI helpful? Where is it harmful? How can we manage this?

Your AI Use Policy should address this for your team, declare your stand and make sure you comply with the laws everywhere that you operate. The new liability rules mean your team needs clear direction on responsible AI use to align with compliance standards. Here our AI Use Policy template here.

Anthropic Signs a Massive Deal for AI Data Centers

Anthropic recently finalized a 20-year agreement valued at $19 billion for a data center facility in Kentucky. TeraWulf, the operator of the site, previously prioritized bitcoin mining; however, it is currently transitioning toward high-performance computing to support artificial intelligence models.

My Take: The most significant momentum in the AI sector is occurring within physical infrastructure, major industry players are preparing for decades of expansion. Instead of constantly chasing the newest, marginally better model, focus your strategy on partnering with platforms that clearly have the hardware, runway, and resources to support your operations for the long haul.
